to say goodbye to 2008 ?
the year
- of China’s worst snowstorm since 1954
- Phelps got EIGHT freaking gold medals
- the Lehman brothers became bankrupt
- frozen water was found on mars
- 2008 Prairie meteoroid fell over Canada
- the Moon moved into perigee, at the same time in its fullest phase of the Lunar Cycle
- a star exploded halfway across the visible universe… it becomes the farthest known object ever visible to the naked eye
… year 2008, known as
the year of the potato,
the year of planet earth,
the year of languages
and the year of sanitation.
I didn’t know half the stuff till I looked it up…
