Yeah I watched My Sassy Girl, Hollywood style.

With Elisha Cuthbert (Canadian) and some other guy.

REACTION:
Meh, Korean version was better, many times better. Seemed to cliche when Hollywood did the remake.

Another remake (for the third time, at least) in the works:
Hana Yori Dango/Meteor Garden/Boys Over Flowers

Honestly, don’t they get sick of the storyline? I guess the people are just trying to squeeze as much money as they can out of the plot. It’s SO much better in Japanese. Conversational Japanese sounds better than korean, anytime.
AND, the F4 guys look best when they’re either Oguri Shun, Matsumoto Jun, or Matsuda Shota.

NOT when they’re Vaness, Jerry Yan, Vic Zhou, Lee Min Ho, Kim Hyun Hoon, or Kim Joon
(notice Kim Bum wasn’t listed… that’s because I think he’s a good F4 member : ) )

There’s ONE thing that bothers me, Domyoji’s character’s permed hair. I got used to Matsumoto’s but… I think the Korean version overdid it a bit… AND the Korean Makino… is way too Korean-ized, I feel really weird watching it. But it’s probably only because I’ve watched the Japanese version just a few days ago. 

Lee Min Ho pulled of Domyoji’s stupidity quite well, I think he learnt Matsumto’s smirk! and … Korean Rui… *shudder* I don’t like it… yet. I’m always looking forward to the way they express their immense wealth, both the Japanese and Korean versions do it well. I hope they don’t over do the checkered prints…

and OMG? I think I actually don’t mind Oguri Shun as much anymore. I remember when I first saw him in Hanazakari Kimitachi e… I was literally: OMG? HIS FACE… LOOKS FUNNY.

But I like his tallness, voice and facial expressions (LOL)… but I accidentally downloaded a ‘movie’ of his. It was a Dectective Conan special. I THOUGHT Shinichi would be played by Fukushi Seiji (Kanon’s brother in Innocent Love), but it turned out to be Oguri Shun. Imagine my shock, ten minutes and thirty seconds into the video and realising… it was the funny-faced guy?

Anyway, like I said, my opinion of him has changed drastically (THANK GOD HE was casted to play HANAZAWA RUI!), so you could say I was OKAY with the Shinichi character…
